Official Neeps lodging (hostel)
The inexpensive official NEEPS lodging will be at the Hostelling International Boston at 19 Stuart Street, a ten-minute walk or subway ride away from the conference venue. The hostel has two types of rooms, 1) dorm-style with private hallway bathrooms and 2) hotel-style with private in-room bathrooms. Dorm-style beds will be approx. $40-60/night and private rooms approx. $140-200/night. Rates will increase as the date gets closer, so book now (info below)! They will try to put NEEPS attendees together, but cannot accommodate roommate requests.
To book a room at the hostel, please read this info sheet, which will answer most of your questions! Then, book online here, using the promo code NEEPS15 for your discount. Important: For logistics inquiries about staying at the hostel, please contact the conference organizer, not the hostel itself, to prevent them from being overwhelmed by your calls!
The hostel has no parking lots, but there are a couple within 0.3 miles (see these suggestions or find more here). However, driving and parking in downtown Boston is extremely difficult and expensive, so please see the Car section of our Getting Here & Getting Around page for other options.

Hotel
If a hostel is not your style, there are a number of more upscale hotel options in the Boston area. The Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill is offering a special rate for conference attendees, ~$219/night (plus tax) for a standard king or double -- so splitting a room is an option. To get the special rate, call the hotel at (617)742-7630 and tell them you're with the NEEPS conference. The hotel has a valet parking service for $43/day, or there is an adjacent lot for $48/day. The Wyndham is a 15-minute walk or a 10-minute public transit trip to the conference venue.
Bed & breakfast
If you're seeking a different kind of experience, try the John Jeffries House bed and breakfast at 14 David G. Muger Way. It's a 20-minute walk away from the conference venue, and it's right next to the Charles-MGH Red Line stop, so if you don't feel like walking, you can take the Red Line in the Braintree/Ashmont direction and take it one stop to Park Street.
